Molly J. Neylan - 1999 co-founder/member emeritus

Molly J. Neylan along with Sabrina Lloyd created GroundUp Theatre in a white '93 Ford Festiva to and from SAFD Certification class in Evanston one long winter in 1999. Molly leaves GroundUp with a hefty resume of work: She played Masha in Three Sisters, Brenda in Four Dogs and a Bone, Billie in Women of Manhatten, Mathilda in Zastrozzi and was in the original Letters/X part one (which she co-created), and Letters/X part two.  She lit almost everyone of our shows until she left, did the PR, and co-produced many of our production, most centrally with our short play festival, Fast Cheap and Easy.  Molly currently is working on getting some of that LA money and noteriety we will mooch off of when we can "knew her when".  As our favorite controversial leading lady and lighting designer, she leaves a hole no one person can fill.  Go tiger!

Katherine Litwin Member 2004 on hiatus

Katherine is a native of the Chicago area.  She was last seen with GroundUp as Irina in Three Sisters. Other credits include Alice in Closer with GroundUp, Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea with The Artistic Home, and Electra in The Billy Goat Experiment Theatre's updated production of the Agamemnon story, The Dogs.  Before she began working as an actor, she performed as a dancer for many years, and has taken her knowledge of music and movement into her theatrical work as a designer of both sound and dance. Although in Canada, her influence continues as the proposer of our 11-12/05 production of Slaughter City.
